Florida Road Test Preparation
Mock tests, parallel parking drills, and one-on-one coaching across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach.
The Florida Class E road test is short, but it's not easy. Examiners look for specific behaviors on every maneuver, and one missed mirror check or wide turn can fail the whole test. PalmWay's test preparation program walks you through every part of the exam so nothing on test day catches you off guard.
We work with first-time drivers, foreign license holders, and people who already failed once and want to pass on the next try.

What the Florida Class E Road Test Covers
The examiner scores you on a fixed list of maneuvers. You need to perform each one correctly, in sequence, while also handling normal traffic decisions.
- β Pre-drive vehicle inspection (signals, lights, brakes, horn, defroster, emergency flashers)
- β Three-point turn within a 20 to 40 foot space
- β Parallel parking between two markers
- β Backing up in a straight line for 50 feet without veering
- β Stopping at a controlled intersection (full stop behind the line)
- β Yielding right of way
- β Approaching a crossing or railway
- β Lane changes with proper signal and shoulder check
- β Stopping quickly and safely on instruction
- β Following posted speed limits
- β Observing traffic signs and signals throughout
β οΈ A single critical mistake (rolling through a stop sign, hitting a curb during parallel parking, missing a pedestrian) can end the test immediately.
Why First-Time Test Takers Fail
Most fails happen on a small handful of items. The same mistakes show up again and again across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach test sites.
- β Rolling stops at stop signs and red lights
- β Failed parallel parking (hitting the curb or finishing too far from it)
- β Not checking blind spots before lane changes
- β Wide right turns into the wrong lane
- β Driving too slowly or too cautiously
- β Missing pedestrians at marked crosswalks
- β Skipping mirror checks during backing maneuvers

How PalmWay's Test Prep Program Works
Every prep session is one-on-one with a state-certified instructor in a dual-control vehicle. You drive, the instructor coaches in real time, and we work on the exact things you'll be scored on.
π― Mock Road Test
We run a full simulation of the Class E exam, scored the same way the examiner will score you. You get a written breakdown of where you'd pass and where you'd lose points, so the next session targets your weak spots.
π ΏοΈ Targeted Maneuver Practice
Most students need extra reps on parallel parking, three-point turns, and quick stops. We use the same dimensions and conditions as the actual test sites in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach.
π Test-Day Walkthrough
Before your appointment, we cover what to expect at the testing location, the order of maneuvers, what the examiner is allowed to ask, and how to keep your nerves under control.
